Admissions Criteria:
Enrollment in the Donalsonville Hospital Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is based on a physician referral and the following criteria:
- Exertional dyspnea (shortness of breath during activity)
- Abnormal pulmonary function tests
- Stable cardiac status
- Limitations in activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Expectation of measurable improvement through rehabilitation
- Cognitive ability to participate and follow instructions
- Motivation to engage in treatment and lifestyle improvement
