Biography:
Dr.Gregory Hall was born and raised along Lake Seminole in Decatur County and attended Georgia Southern University where he studied. He went on to attend Ross University School of Medicine in New York City, New York, where he made Dean's List from 1995 through 1999.

Dr. Hall then furthered his education at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia, through the Family Medicine Practice Residency Program. While there he acted as the Family Practice Residency Program's Chief Resident from 2001 until 2002, as well he received the Family Practice Resident of the Year award for both years. In addition, Dr. Hall was awarded the Academic Excellence Award during his residency.

In 2002, Dr. Hall made the decision to return to his roots with his family and serve the community that had been so impressionable upon his life. He now practices in Donalsonville, Georgia, where in 2023 he became Chief Medical Officer of the South Georgia Health Clinic. Dr. Hall also serves as the Vice Chief of Staff at the Donalsonville Hospital and is a Medical Director for Georgia Hospice.

Dr. Hall has three children, Evan, Harrison and Claudia. Evan is a Georgia College graduate and currently attending Mercer School of Medicine. Harrison graduated in 2022 from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, and is currently working as a Community Supervision Officer. While Claudia attends the University of Georgia in Athens and is a sophomore.

In his free time, Dr. Hall likes to exercise, boat and fish, spend time with his family and get outdoors and cheer for those Georgia Bulldogs. Go Dawgs!

A native of Southwest Georgia, Dr. Bell is excited to return home and serve the community that helped shape her. She graduated from Seminole County High School before earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Valdosta State University. She went on to receive her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Baldwin Health in Foley, Alabama.

Dr. Bell provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages and has experience in a wide range of areas, including pediatrics, geriatrics, women’s health, chronic disease management, preventive care, and aesthetic services such as Botox. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and helping families achieve their healthiest lives through compassionate, personalized care.

Donalsonville Hospital is pleased to announced that Dr. Jacob Holley, III has returned to Donalsonville and joined our hospital team of physicians as a General Practitioner. Dr. Holley graduated from Seminole County High School in 2005 as valedictorian, attended Valdosta State for a Bachelor of Science (Summa cum Laude) and then moved to Augusta, Georgia to attend the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Holley completed his five years of General Surgery residency training at Spartanburg Regional Hospital in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Dr. Holley is a member of the American College of Surgeons and American Medical Association.

The Holley family has been involved in the medical care of this community going back to the 1960s when Dr. Holley's grandfather moved here to practice medicine. "I am eager to join my uncle, Dr. Jeff Holley and aunt, Brenda Turner as they serve the local medical community as well as my aunts, Joy Bell and Rhonda Payne who continue to serve the wider medical community," Holley remarked.

Dr. Holley married his college sweetheart Caitlynn Holley in May of 2013. He says of his wife, "She has been a blessing and the rock that supported me throughout my medical training." When not working, Holley enjoys football in all its forms (Go Dawgs!) and the great outdoors.

Dr. Homer Breckenridge, III, graduated from Seminole County High School in 1969 and received his Bachelors of Science Degree from Valdosta State College in 1973. In 1977 heÂ graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a Doctor of Medicine Degree and completed his surgical residence at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon in 1982. He is board certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Georgia Surgical Society, the Georgia OB-GYN Association, and the Georgia Association of General Surgeons. He has special training in laparoscopic surgery, and is licensed in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama.

Dr. Breckenridge returned to Donalsonville in 1982 to join in practice with his father, Dr. Homer Breckenridge, Jr. He is married to Ruth Bridges Breckenridge and they have two daughters, Bethany B. McElyea (Josh) and Emily B. Kitchens (Greg), five grandchildren, Lane, Kate, and James McElyea and Annie and Clark Kitchens. He is very involved with Christian mentorship and is involved in the men's Sunday school classes and bible study groups. Josh Walker is a general surgeon in his hometown of Donalsonville, Georgia. Dr. Walker attended the University of Georgia for his undergraduate education and graduated summa cum laude. He went on to graduate from Mercer University School of Medicine. He completed a 5-year surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia where he was chief resident in 2008. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Walker and his family moved to Cooperstown, New York where he completed an abbreviated fellowship in rural surgery. He returned to Donalsonville to join his father, Dr. Charles Walker, and sister, Dr. Sarah Hampton at Wiregrass Medical and Surgical Group (now Southwest Georgia Healthcare Clinics). He earned the distinction of fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 2015.

Dr. Walker is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, the Georgia Society American College of Surgeons, and the American Hernia Society.

Dr. Walker serves as a preceptor for medical students at Mercer University School of Medicine and the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also serves as a teaching professor for the South College Physician Assistant Program. He is a medical director for Georgia Hospice Care and serves on the Seminole County Warpath Cancer Board. Dr. Walker was recently appointed by Governor Kemp to the Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce.

Dr. Walker and his wife, Kendra, are active at the First Presbyterian Church in Donalsonville where they teach Sunday school. They have two sons, Jase and Will. Dr. Walker enjoys spending time with his boys hunting and fishing. Their family also enjoys traveling, skiing, and hiking.

Dr. Brandon Brookins is an internal medicine physician who was born and raised in Donalsonville, Ga. He completed a bachelor’s degree in biology at Shorter University in Rome, Ga. He then went on to medical school at Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Al. After graduation from medical school Dr. Brookins went on to complete an internal medicine residency in Savannah, Ga. During training in Savannah, he learned to take care of complicated medical problems such as diabetes, chronic respiratory failure, heart disease and much more. During his last year of residency, he served as chief resident of internal medicine working closely with residents and staff to ensure the safety and wellness of patients. He was also awarded medical resident of the year in 2024.

Dr. Brookins and his wife Hannah Brookins are now returning to Donalsonville, Ga to begin a practice of internal medicine. As for special interest he and his wife are avid golfers and expect to play in the area regularly.

Hilary Jean Killingsworth, a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Dothan, Alabama, has always been passionate about caring for children. She graduated from Bainbridge High School before earning her Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and her Master’s in Nursing from Troy University. Throughout her career, Hilary has worked in pediatrics and neonatal acute care, focusing on both well and sick babies to ensure they receive the best possible care.

Outside of her work, Hilary is a devoted wife to Walt Killingsworth, who works in the peanut industry, and a proud mom to their three-year-old son, Boone, who is set to start preschool at Houston Academy this Fall. After graduation from the University of Tennessee, Dr. Strunk completed his internship at the University of Colorado in Denver and residency at Creighton University in Omaha.
