Southwest Georgia Healthcare Clinics is excited to welcome a new face to our growing team of providers! Hilary Jean Killingsworth, a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Dothan, Alabama, officially joined our practice on August 11th and will be seeing patients at our 205 Bresee Street location.
Hilary brings a wealth of experience and a lifelong passion for caring for children. A native of Southwest Georgia, Hilary graduated from Bainbridge High School before earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She later completed her master’s in nursing at Troy University, specializing in pediatric care.
Throughout her career, Hilary has focused on pediatrics and neonatal acute care, treating both well and sick babies with dedication to providing the best possible care. Her clinical expertise is matched only by her deep compassion and understanding of the needs of young patients and their families.
“I’m so excited to return to my hometown roots and serve this community,” Hilary shared. “I feel honored to care for the children here and look forward to building lasting relationships with the families I meet.”
Outside of the clinic, Hilary enjoys a vibrant family life with her husband, Walt Killingsworth, who works in the peanut industry—and their spirited three-year-old son, Boone, who will be starting preschool at Houston Academy this fall. The family has two lovable French Bulldogs and enjoys outdoor adventures during deer season, as well as frequent trips to Disney World when the seasons allow.
